Go enjoy the city. Your Dibber holds the spot.

LineDibs connects you with a line sitter, called a Dibber, at supported venues in New York City. They wait in the physical line and keep you updated until you arrive.

From booking to handoff

  1. Find your restaurant and check the available times and price.
  2. Book a hold. Your Dibber waits in line and sends updates and photos.
  3. Coordinate in the app, head over, and take your place when the venue permits the handoff.

Can I pay someone to wait in a restaurant line?

Yes. At restaurants supported by LineDibs, you can book a Dibber to wait in the physical line on your behalf. The restaurant’s line and seating policies still apply.

Is LineDibs a restaurant reservation service?

LineDibs books a line sitter. It does not sell restaurant reservations, reserve tables, or guarantee admission. The restaurant decides when and whether it can seat your party.

Which restaurants can I book?

The restaurant directory lists the restaurants currently supported by LineDibs. Open a restaurant’s booking page to check its current availability.

When should I arrive?

Follow your Dibber’s updates and coordinate through the in-app chat. The line can move unpredictably. Check whether the restaurant requires your entire party to be present.

What does a hold cost?

Your price depends on the venue and the hold you select. Review the current rate, total, and cancellation terms in the booking flow before paying. Food and drinks are separate.

How do I reach LineDibs?
